They’re increasingly being found on all sorts of homes and today about 15% of all roofing installs are metal; the number of metal roof installs has been increasing at roughly three percent per year over the past few years. Metal roofs have been the go-to material for commercial and industrial buildings for decades and because of modern enhancements to the roofing production process, it’s become more cost effective to bring metal roofs to residential homes.
